We seek an experienced subject leader with a well-established track record of successfully teaching one or more Humanities subjects up to ‘A’ level, and able to teach effectively across the ability range in History. You will bring to this new role an outstanding track record of examination success, the ability to inspire and enthuse your team and an approach to staff improvement that is based on a coaching model. Judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in February 2013, West Lakes Academy continues to improve with 62% of students in 2014 achieving 5 A*-C GCSE passes including Maths and English, 99% getting 5 A*-G, and a 100% pass rate at ‘A’ level.
