Pilates (evenings); Art (evenings)
Salary: £21.06 per hour
West Lakes Academy Adult Education invites applications for the above vacancies to teach at the Academy starting September 2013. A teaching qualification is desirable. Tutors are employed on a fixed term contract. The courses are expected to be delivered at 2 hours per week, for 24 weeks, term time only, on dates to be mutually agreed. We are committed to providing a high quality range of part time courses for the community. Publicity and Events Manager
25 Hours per week, some flexibility required due to the nature of the role. Term time only or full year working considered.
Salary: £18,278 - £19,348 pa (£27,052 - £28,636 pa fte) Corporate healthcare scheme
We seek a well-organised, imaginative professional with drive to take responsibility for creating and managing publicity, displays and events and generating positive promotional opportunities for the academy. It is essential that candidates can demonstrate: • an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification and at least 2 years senior experience in a school/business/office environment; • excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills; • a high level of ICT literacy; • the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy to demanding deadlines. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

TEMPORARY SENIOR TECHNICIAN – Performing Arts
10 hours per week, flexible times to include occasional evenings, term time only, until July 2014
Salary: SCP14–SCP17: £3,775-£4,041 pa (£15,725-£16,830 pa pro rata) Pay and Grading review pending
We seek a suitably experienced and qualified technician to operate and maintain our professional Theatre and Music equipment including sound, lighting, recording studio, camera, portable recording devices and video and AV editing; and undertake a range of other technical duties to support the Performing Arts curriculum. Applicants should have NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline, and the skills to pro-actively support academy systems.
