Fixed term until 31st August 2019, term time (40 weeks per year), 20 hours per week. Starting salary £12,929 per annum with potential to progress to £14,313 per annum. This salary is pro rata from a full year, full time equivalent of £26,923 to £29,805 per annum.
You will promote and devise whole academy attendance strategies and work to reduce levels of absence. This role will support all students to ensure they access their learning. You will promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, and raise aspirations to help students achieve their full potential. The Attendance Officer will work with the local authority, external agencies and academy staff to improve academy attendance figures and to change lives through learning.
Essential requirements include:
Experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a school setting is desirable.
