Dear Parent / Carer
I am aware that pick up and drop off times at the academy are a difficult and very busy time due to the large amounts cars and buses on site, however a small minority of parents are parking with a lack of consideration for our local residents or businesses. Unfortunately this week I have taken calls from members of our community very unhappy about cars being parked across their drives, on double yellow lines or on business premises.
We continue to work with the local council and the police to see what can be done to solve some of the parking issues and will continue to do so in terms of alternative drop off or pick up areas.
I do understand that parents or carers will sometimes need to drive their children to school, however I would urge where possible for parents/guardians to park in a considerate manner away from the school and then walk in.
